This October, the past will not rest . . .
Valkyrie Productions returns with Pay No Heed at the Redwood Library, October 16–18. Step
into Cliffmoor’s shadowed halls in 1933 Newport, where a young Bride discovers the lingering
presence of a sea captain’s wife long lost to time. As memories stir and voices echo through the
estate, love undying collides with lives undone in a gothic tale woven across two haunting eras
of New England history.
Featuring music by Mozart, Debussy, Puccini, and more, Pay No Heed invites audiences into an
intimate world of suspense, romance, and things that go bump in the night!
Written and directed by Rhode Island native and soprano Meghan Thomson, Pay No Heed
continues Valkyrie’s mission to bring opera and classical music to life in immersive, site-specific
performances. Following the sold-out debut of Pay No Heed in 2024, this new expanded version
promises even greater suspense, romance, and ghostly allure.
