Jodie DeSalvo will perform an entertaining program of All American music featuring the music of Joplin, Confrey, Berlin and Gershwin. She will conclude the evening with the iconic “Rhapsody in Blue”.
Jodie DeSalvo has earned national and international acclaim for her classical and jazz performances. A graduate of the Hartt and Manhattan Schools of Music, she made her Carnegie Hall debut in 1988 and has since appeared as a soloist with major orchestras including Chicago, San Francisco, Chautauqua, and the Naples Philharmonic. DeSalvo, a noted prizewinner, has also performed at prestigious festivals such as the Brevard Music Center Summer Festival, Chautauqua Festival and Birch Creek. Most recently, Jodie toured with the double keyboard built by Wisconsin piano technician Peter Nehlssen—one of nine in the world. Jodie has recorded and produced 13 CDs of solo literature, chamber and choral music, including three CDs with former Naples Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Basham.
