The Washington Salute, a popular annual tradition at the Redwood will once again be staged by the Rhode Island Society Sons of the Revolution. The 292nd birthday tribute to George Washington will feature a history of Washington’s life, a reading of his Prayer For The Nation, wreath laying and conclude with a musket salute by the Artillery Company of Newport.
