Jodie DeSalvo has earned national and international recognition for her classical and jazz interpretations of keyboard masterworks. After winning the Artist International Competition in 1988, Jodie made her Carnegie Hall debut to critical acclaim and returned two years later for an encore performance at Lincoln Center. She has also received major competition honors, an Artist Fellowship Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and training from the Hartt and Manhattan schools of music under John Browning and Gary Graffman.

An accomplished soloist and chamber musician, Jodie has toured extensively with orchestras across the U.S. and Europe, appeared frequently with the Fort Wayne and Naples Philharmonics, and collaborated with leading instrumentalists and ensembles. She has performed at major festivals including Brevard, Chautauqua, and Birch Creek, where she has served as piano faculty chair for 24 seasons.

Her work has been featured more than 100 times on National Public Radio, and she has recorded and produced 13 CDs spanning solo, chamber, and choral repertoire. Most recently, she toured with a rare double keyboard built by Wisconsin piano technician Peter Nehlssen—one of only nine in the world.
