Join Executive Director, Benedict Leca and collector Michael Meyer for a lecture and conversation on the Redwood’s current exhibition, “Robert Duncanson: Landscapes to Freedom”. The presentation in the Harrison Room will explore the context and meaning of the twenty-five paintings on view, using historical and archival materials to frame Duncanson as both a gifted landscape artist and a committed abolitionist, as well as offer insights about the making of the exhibition.
