The Redwood Classics Reading Program will meet on Friday, November 9 at 4:30 pm to discuss Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter, chapters 13-24. All are welcome.
Have you ever wondered what the Redwood was like in 1750? Step into the world of the eighteenth-century library with this new program, meeting bi-weekly in the Harrison Room. Participants will discuss select titles from the Original Collection in the room where they’ve been read since 1750. Participants will read assigned texts at home, come to the Redwood every other Thursday to discuss the texts in the Harrison Room, and participate in an interactive display of rare books and manuscripts from the special collections of the Redwood.
